Game: Rogue Galaxy

This was an amusing one, no doubt about that. You’ll be so caught up in the story and gameplay, you’ll ignore the infeasible details.

You start the game off as a boy named Jaster Rogue, and see how his desert world of Rosa has been conquered for the sake of an interstellar war. Of course, he could care less about the war. Especially when the guards let a swarm of beasts into town and leave the civilians to their lonesome. As Jaster fights off these monsters, a group of infamous, if not incompetant, space pirates sees his desprite battle, confusing the youth for a legendary hunter called ‘Desert Claw’. From there on, Jaster joins these miscreants on their highly advanced space ship..which seems like a crazed combination of the Black Pearl’s design and StarTrek technology. On multiple worlds, you will clash sword spear, gun, flamethrower, and mechanized fist against whatever happens to cross your path.

Not the most innovative game, but still a nice play. Now, in the immortal words of a particularly lovable fat guy in the game.. “Hey, Jaster! No hard feelin’s, right? We’ll put up a good tombstone for ye.” Yeah, the guy from countless years in the future sounds like he’s straight from an Irish pub. Hope your gut’s ready for a laugh or two, since this game’s full of jokes.
